Grandma's Dressing
This recipe comes from Rev. Rebecca D. Jones of Hapeville.


Cornbread         1 pound butter    

Biscuits          5-6 pounds onions     

1 dozen eggs      salt and pepper

1 stalk celery

 

Crumble cornbread and biscuits into large bowl in equal amounts.  Add turkey broth enough to make soft.  Add eggs and mix well.  Add butter and mix.  Add finely chopped celery.  Add finely chopped onions.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Divide into 9x12x12 baking pans, being sure to leave enough room for the dressing to rise while baking.  Bake at 375-degrees until golden-brown.
